Esteban Bekerman

Esteban Bekerman is a professor at the Superior School of Sports Journalism of Buenos Aires (the oldest of its kind in South America), where he teaches a 'Football History' course designed by him since 1997.   In 2015 he created Entre Tiempos, a unique cultural space dedicated entirely to football history.

Phil Ball

​

Phil is a lecturer and football writer based in the Basque city of San Sebastian.  He wrote the popular book Morbo - The Story of Spanish Football and is a regular contributor to the football magazine 'When Saturday Comes'.  Phil also plays for Real Sociedad's walking football team.

John is a Professor of Modern Italian History at Bristol University and the author of best selling Italian Football book 'Calcio'.  There is no one more suitably qualified to accompany us on a football discovery in Italy.

Daniele Fisichella​

Daniele is a well respected football journalist and is regularly asked to appear on the radio for stations such as TalkSPORT and also works for UEFA to provide insight on the latest developments in Italian Football.  He is from Sicily and has spent a lot of his career in Bologna.  Daniele is particularly well versed on the Golden Era of Calcio when Serie A dominated European football.
