Is there a maximum size for the groups?
Yes the size of the groups are restricted to just 18 travellers to ensure the experience is exclusive and intimate.
Could the fixtures change?
The timing of the weekly fixtures is not usually finalised until 3-4 weeks before in the Italian and Spanish leagues. This means there is a small possibility one of the fixtures we plan to attend may be scheduled for a Monday evening. Our weekend breaks are 3 nights, arriving Friday afternoons and finishing Monday midday. In the event of one of our planned matches falling on the Monday evening we will replace the match with a suitable alternative. You will watch two great games!!
Are flight included?
Flights are not included. Some travellers may want to extend their break and arrive a day earlier or leave a day later. Should you need advice on the flights available please do not hesitate to contact us.
When should I arrive and leave?
For our 3 night weekend breaks you will need to arrange your flights so that you can join the group at the hotel for 4pm. The Friday evening will usually involve a group welcome dinner with your fellow Aficionados, tour leader and football expert however this could be a football match should one of our fixtures get scheduled for the Friday evening. Our group itinerary will finish at midday on the Monday.
Are airport transfers included?
No airport transfers are not included. There are always regular buses or trains running from the airports to the city centres. Private tansfers/taxis are also available. We always stay at hotels located in the city centres so once you have made your way to the city our hotel will be nearby. We will provide directions from the centre of the city to the hotel after booking.
How much is the deposit?
Our European tours require a non-refundable deposit of £200.
Is my deposit and balance payment financially protected?
Yes we are fully compliant with the Package Travel Regulations through our ABTOT membership (5562). ABTOT will provide a refund or repatriation in the unlikely event of our insolvency.
How do I claim my WSC discount?
WSC subscribers and Supporters' Club members are entitled to a £75 discount on each booking. At the checkout you need to enter the code WSCSUB75. A discount of £75 will then be applied against the value of your booking.
